Nun, andere mögen regelmäßig in London, Paris oder Newyork ausstellen, für mich aber war das doch recht außergewöhnlich.
Wenn man mit dem Zug von Karlsruhe nach Paris fährt, durchquert man Landschaften, die einst blutgetränkt waren und das irgendwie noch in sich tragen. Die ganz still davon erzählen.

I hope the letter has reached you with this address.
You may have noticed that I changed the title of the exhibition.
I have several reasons for that – the most important is that the word
“Fußmarsch” has originally a military meaning.
And I don’t want to go to Paris with a military undertone.
When you’ll see the painting titled “kleiner Fußmarsch” You will recognise
that it is not meant militarily – well maybe just in a very ironic sense.
But taken out of the context the words may be misunderstood.

You get a few invitations with this letter.
So if you like you may give some to your friends or other interested people.

Dear Mélanie,

I hope you doing fine – especially the day after new year......

You get a few invitations and I hope you know some one to give it to.
It would be great not to drink all the wine alone......at the Vernissage.
I changed the title because the first sounded to militarily to me – I think it’s not
a good Idea, as a German, to go to France with a military undertone.
This weekend I will finish a project which makes me able to pay this Paris-inhibition.
(And able to go on living after it)
Lately I bought some software which makes it possible to do recordings from the record player (good old vinyl disc) to the computer.
I’m going to make a real “best of” what I’m listening to the whole day.
And one day you’ll get another CD.
( A little private question: Do you know the feeling when it is all dark around you and your flash lamp is out of order - again?)
Maybe it’s because the winter is not cold enough.
Well maybe it doesn’t matter at all, most people are blind anyway.
I wish you a lot of light and perspectives for this year.
